Benjamin Iliffe
Education Program Leader
& Co-Founder
Ben has over 20 years of experience in education, teaching from PreK- 12 in a wide range of educational settings. Ben was born in the UK where he spent most of his life outdoors in North Wales, or teaching in London where he was an administrator (principal) and ran an outdoor education program for excluded children, in 2 of the most deprived areas of London.
Ben has 10 years of specialism and experience in social and emotional mental health, special education and disability. He has taught art, outdoor education (mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking and problem-solving activities such as assault courses), and cooking, nutrition, hospitality and catering. He also led Forest School intervention, which included learning activities like firemaking and backyard cooking.
In his free time, Ben is an experienced and competitive dinghy sailor and was previously a sailing instructor for the Royal Yachting Association (UK). He races dinghies at an international level (Optimist, 420, National 12, Solo, Laser, GP14, 505 Dinghies) and has won many awards.
Ben has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and a Master’s in Sculpture.
Ben has an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL-r.21 certificate from the American Red Cross and is a Level 3 Forest School Leader.
He also has had training in School Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity policies and Child Protection and behavior.
Sara Dziadik
Art Program Leader
& Co-Founder
Sara is a visual artist, curator, arts producer and access advisor.
She has curated and produced exhibitions at Tate Modern, BALTIC, Southbank Centre and galleries across the UK and internationally. Sara curates across interlinking visual art, literature, music and performance and has 10 years of experience producing and supporting disabled artists around the world. She has worked with organizations in the US, UK, Japan, and Europe to build a more diverse, equal and inclusive cultural sector for disabled people as artists, audiences and workers.
Sara has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and a Master’s in Sculpture and is a practising visual artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally. She works primarily across drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, moving image and performance.
Sara has led artist workshops with schools and children which were tailored to each group’s needs and centered around works of art and exhibition-specific content. She also teaches life drawing.
Sara has an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BL-r.21 certificate from the American Red Cross, as well as training in Dementia support, Disability Equality, Safe Operation of Evacuation Chairs, Fire Warden and Emergency First Aid at work.
